Woosley & Anderson win Elite Event at Harmony Landing

After weather shortened our Elite Event at Harmony Landing to an 18-hole shootout, Colton Woosley (Western Kentucky University) earned his 3rd win on the GolfWeek Junior Tour! Colton carded a one-under par round of 70 to capture the Boys 16-19 and overall Boys 14-19 division titles. He connected on 3 birdies for the day, playing his final nine holes in 34 strokes at 2-under. Griffin Latimer finished runner up after a round of level par, 71, just one shot back of the lead. Grayson Coughlin, TJ Kreusch (University of Dayton) and Cayse Morgan (Xavier University) tied for 3rd place at one-over par, 72.

Isabella Anderson took home her first GWJT title in the Girls 15-19 division after a stellar round of 73 (+2). She played her final 9 holes (1-9) at one-under par to earn a 4-stroke victory! Isabella led the field in bogey avoidance with only three on the day and most pars or better with 15! Nala Chebli and Serena Wu finished in a tie for 2nd place after carding 77 (+6). Anna Bell and Taylor Snively finished in a tie for 4th place at 78 (+7).

The Boys 14-15 division was won by 2027 grad, Elijah Lemmon, after a round of 73 (+2) propelled him to a 4-stroke victory. Elijah connected with two birdies on the day enroute to his 5th GWJT victory of his career and second of the season. This win puts him in 2nd place in the Boys 14-15 Player of the Year Race! Jack Burrice and Carson Long finished tied for 2nd place at 77 (+6). Zac McGrath and Blaise Barnum finished in a tie for 4th place at 78 (+7).

Thank you to all who played this weekend and a special shoutout to Harmony Landing CC Superintendent, David Hawes, and his staff for the incredible work to get the course in playing condition for Sunday's round! Great playing to all of our Champions and podium finishers!
