Wessel with Fourth Win

Eli Wessel continued his excellent season by posting his fourth win already in six starts in Muncie, IN. Eli put up a one over par 141 total to capture his fifth career Golfweek Junior Tour victory. He shot a one over par 71 in the first round, which was the round of the day. On day two, he tied for the low round of the day with an even par 70. Those two rounds combined to give him a three stroke win. Mattingly Upchurch finished in second place with rounds of 74-70 for a 144 total. Cade Carter (72-75) finished the tournament in third place.

Ian Lambert shot an even par 70 in his second round at Delaware Country Club to capture his first Golfweek Junior Tour title. Despite an opening round 72, he found himself two strokes back of the leaders. He was still down a shot with only two holes to play. Ian birdied his 35th hole of the tournament to put himself on top before parring the final hole to seal the win. Ian's 142 total was good for a one stroke victory. Silas Haarer (70-73) and Justin Hicks (73-70) both tied for second place with 143 totals.

Alex Cook put together two great rounds over the weekend to wrap up his first victory of the season and fourth of his Golfweek Junior Tour career. He shot 73 in the first round to put himself up two shots on the field. His second round 72 was enough that he was never threatened on Sunday and he wound up posting a five stroke victory. His 145 total included a field-leading five birdies. Carson Scheiben ended the tournament at 150 (79-71) and in second place. Blake Rohling finished in third at 75-80, 155.
