Meekhof victorious at Washtenaw
Washtenaw Golf Club played host to another great weekend in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Sumner Meekhof, a 2027 graduate, was victorious in the Boys 16-19 division and overall Boys 14-19 division titles! Sumner’s 7 birdies over the two rounds helped propel him to the top of the leaderboard. He carded rounds of 70-70 to finish the event at 4-under par and earn a 5-stroke victory. Alex Lustig finished runner up after rounds of 69-76 and a two-round total of 145 (+1). Cooper Reitsma rounded out our podium finishers at 4-over par, after two rounds of 74. Brian Tillman, David Krusinski and Adam Thanaporn finished in a tie for fourth place at 5-over par.
The Boys 14-15 division was led by Aidan Oake from wire to wire. Aidan carded rounds of 71-77 to finish the event at 147 (+4) and a three-stroke victory. Pierce Talarico finished in second place at 151 (+7) after rounds of 74-77. Matthew Filipp rounded out our podium finishers in third place at 153 (+9).
