Kreusch-ed the Elements at Pipestone and Yankee Trace




TJ Kreusch opened the weekend tied for the lead in the Boys 16-19 division with a 1-under par round of 71, battling the rain and wind throughout the day. He remained hot through the second round, carding 4 birdies, including the final 2 holes of the tournament enroute to a final round 69 (-3) to seal the division and the overall Boys 14-19 title! Micah Sheffer co-led the field in birdies with 9 propelling him into 2nd place after rounds of 71-71 for a 142 (-2) total. Brody Hayes carded rounds of 72-71 --143 (-1) to grab the 3rd place medal.






Rocco Humphreys took home the Boys 14-15 division title after carding level par rounds of 72-72 -- 144 (E). Rocco connected on 10 birdies throughout the 2 rounds of play, with 5 of them coming on his first 9 holes of Sunday's round. A 32 (-4) on the 9 placed him atop the leaderboard, where he coasted to victory. Mitchell Corbin and Zac McGrath finished in a tie for 2nd place at 146 (+2). They both fired rounds of the day with Zac carding a 3-under par 69 on Saturday and Mitchell carding a 1-under par 71 on Sunday.






Weather shortened our event at Yankee Trace to 27 holes where we hosted our Girls 15-19, Girls 14 & Under and Boys 13 & Under divisions. Ellie Hutzler (71-38) and Alex Reschly (72-37) were tied for the lead after 27 holes of regulation play. They would continue to match each other's score through a 4-hole playoff before they were announced Co-Champions! Sophia Stanton and Aliisa Helminen tied for 3rd place at 5-over par for the event. Lorna Zhang rounded out the top 5 finishers at 6-over par.





Blaise Barnum earned his 7th career Golfweek Junior Tour title this weekend at Yankee Trace! He carded rounds of 71-33 to finish the event at 2-under par and cruise to a 5-stroke victory. Blaise and Maximus Humphreys led the field in birdies with 6 over the 27 holes of play. Maximus Humphreys, Elijah Hall-Bromberg and Hayden Li tied for 2nd place at 3-over par. Nick Pollak rounded out the top 5 finishers at 5-over par.






Eva Emerson opened the weekend tied for the lead with Niya Chebli after carding matching 76's. Eva came out firing on Sunday with a birdie on the first hole and would not give up the lead. She would finish the event at 9-over par after rounds of 76-39. Niya Chebli finished in second place at 13-over par with Emma Gonzalez-Ribble rounding out the podium finishers at 16-over par.
