Starting in 2021, the GolfWeek Jr Tour established the Elite Series

 

These events are intended to have stronger strength of fields by establishing criteria for acceptance into the field and do not use a first, come first serve entry system.

The Elite Series has specific criteria for how players will be accepted

All players who are interested in competing must register before the field selection date 

 

2024 Elite Events

 

• Elite Event @ Persimmon Ridge        Louisville, KY           March 16-17, 2024

• Elite Event @ Kearney Hill                  Lexington, KY           March 30-31, 2024

• Elite Event @ Gibson Bay                    Richmond, KY          May 18-19, 2024

• Elite Event @ North Star                     Columbus, OH         July 22-23, 2024

• Elite Event @ NCR CC - North             Dayton, OH               October 26-27, 2024

• Elite Event @ Vanderbilt Legends      Franklin, TN             November 2024

2025 Elite Events

 

• Elite Event @ Harmony Landing        Louisville, KY           March 15-16, 2025

• Elite Event @ Kearney Hill                  Lexington, KY           March 29-30, 2025

• Elite Event @ Gibson Bay                    Richmond, KY          May 17-18, 2025

On a specific date, 5-6 weeks prior to the event, our staff will evaluate all players who have registered based on the following criteria and accept them into the event in the following order:

 

1) Winners of ANY past GolfWeek Junior Tour events in the Boys 14-15, Boys 16-19, and Girls 15-19 divisions

- Players with a win (in these age divisions only), are guaranteed a position in the field 
 

- Once all former winners are accepted into the field remaining spots in the field will be filled with the next criteria

2) GolfWeek Jr Tour Player of the Year point standings

- Boys will be accepted in the following order 

    Boys 16-19 Player of the Year rankings 1st - 20th 

    Boys 14-15 Player of the Year rankings 1st - 10th 

- Girls will be accepted in the following order

    Girls 15-19 Player of the Year rankings 1st - 20th 

- Only players that meet these point ranking requirements will be considered by this criteria

- Players in the above point categories are virtually guaranteed a position in the field

- Remaining spots in the field will be filled with the next criteria

3) Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings

- All remaining positions in the field will be filled by the highest/best ranked players in Junior Golf Scoreboard.


Waiting List - Players will be taken in off waiting lists, based on our normal waiting list policy, which brings in players with the highest/best rankings in Junior Golf Scoreboard
