Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame is a representation of the players that have had the best all around careers on the Golfweek Junior Tour. The players profiled below have received numerous accolades, won high school state championships, and won tournaments at the national level. Hall of Fame members get in by way of meeting the criteria. The criteria is as follows: 4 career GJT wins at any level with at least 2 in the 14-19 Boys overall age group or 2 in the 15-19 Girls age group*.
High School Class of 2015
Erin Harper
Erin won 4 tournaments in her time on the Golfweek Junior Tour. She had a career low 68 in the second round at Cherry Blossom in 2015 and went on to win the tournament at 141 for her final GJT victory. Erin wrapped up her GJT career with a 77.7 scoring average. After high school, she joined the Indiana University women's golf program.
Jillian Hollis
Jillian won 4 tournaments in her GJT career. In 9 tournaments, she never finished lower than 3rd. Jillian won the 2012 Tour Championship for the 14 and Under division. In her final GJT round, she fired a 68 for a comeback win. She posted a 76.3 career scoring average. After high school, Jillian joined the University of Georgia golf program.
Tyler Pearson
Tyler won 5 tournaments in his years on the Golfweek Junior Tour. After a great season, he was awarded the 2013-2014 Tour Player of the Year. He racked up 10 straight top 10s to end his GJT career. Tyler compiled a career scoring average of 76.0 over 34 tournaments. After he graduated high school, Tyler headed to Muncie, IN to join the Ball State Cardinals.
Daniel Wetterich
Daniel graduated as the Golfweek Junior Tour's all-time Boys wins leader with 15. He was named the Tour's Player of the Year 3 times, also a record. In 47 career tournaments, he amassed 44 top 10s and 40 top 5s, both records. Daniel ended his career in style, winning the 2015 Tour Championship by 10 shots. He finished his career with a 75.2 scoring average before playing golf for Xavier University.
*In 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 there was no Boys 14-19 division. The Boys 13-19 division takes the place of that for those years. For a win to count towards the Hall of Fame criteria, the following field sizes must be met: Boys 14-19 (20 players need to start the event), Boys 14-15 (15 players need to start the event), Boys 16-19 (15 players need to start the event), Boys 13 and Under (10 players need to start the event), Girls 15-19 (10 players need to start the event), Girls 14 and Under (5 players need to start the event), Girls Overall (12 players need to start the event).
